Protools 7.4 and OSX 10.5.2

Digidesign doesn't yet support their products on Leopard (OSX 10.5.x). It seems nobody knows when there will be an update for the LE products.

Yesterday I read a post by Connor Smith about running Protools 7.4 LE on Leopard. He didn't tried the new update 10.5.2 that came out this week.

Anyway, I did a fresh install of OSX 10.5 and updated it to the most recent version. After that I installed Protools and updated it to version 7.4 (cs2). All runs well for now. I didn't have any problems yet, so it seems like you can run Protools LE on Leopard.

Also Logic Studio is working okay via the Digidesign CoreAudio driver.

Of course this isn't supported by Digidesign!

So, you can give it a try.
